Weaving teaches me patience as I continue to explore the balance of colour, texture and pattern.
Pat Neal weaves on traditional wooden floor looms, adapting historic patterns to 21st century textile needs, using natural fibres such as wool, silk, and hemp as well as experimenting with copper wire and other non-traditional materials. She has participated in juried studio tours since the mid-1990’s and has shown at galleries in the US and Ontario.
