Douglas MacDonald has been sculpting and casting for over 25 years. Inspired by stonework that adorns heritage and historical buildings in Europe and North America, which includes commissioned works from Parliament Hill Ottawa. Each piece is made from a cast stone mixture with an iron and chromium oxide patina, and a waterproof sealer is applied to protect it from the elements year-round.
