Kade Bolger
Woodturner
Artist Statement
Woodturning is my passion! I create unique wood art by sculpting timber and revealing the woodgrains found in domestic and exotic trees of the world.

About the Artist
Kade’s education in wood began at a young age as he carved with his Irish Grandfather. He admired the art in his beautiful wooden sculptures. In early 2011, he connected with local Master Woodturners and later took lessons with Masters in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Recently he has displayed in the Wood Symphony Art Gallery (2020-2021) and Association of Woodturners of Great Britain Travelling Gallery (2019-2021). He was featured in East of the City Magazine (2019) in an article Kade Bolger: The Accidental Artist.
Kade has led woodturning classes in the community and privately but COVID-19 has required a switch to a virtual platform where he provides interactive demonstrations through https://www.kadebolger.com. Each month through his website, he offers an interactive demonstration that highlights a woodturning technique, a woodturning tool, creates a wood turned object and discusses finishing options. Quarterly, he participates in a six woodturner virtual demonstration event at woodturnersretreat.com.
Kade displays my work on my website and at Local and Online Galleries, Studio Tours, Art Shows, Online Exhibitions.
Kade takes pride in my work. The high-gloss shine is his signature of quality and skill. He aspires to be a craftsman of distinction.
