David Clubine
Watercolour Painter
Artist Statement
Since 1990, I have been inspired by Ontario landscapes and heritage buildings and enjoy capturing their uniqueness through watercolour paintings.

About the Artist
I enjoy the architecture in Ontario and beyond as it provides a variety of century homes, farm buildings, railway stations and churches to paint in watercolour, reflecting our past heritage life.
This has been a source of inspirational subject matter along with historical buildings and picturesque landscapes.
I prefer to approach my watercolour paintings using photo references beginning with light pencil sketching for accuracy followed by base washes then finishing with detail using smaller brushes.
My studio is located just west of Port Perry in Utica and I am available for commissions at info@clubinestudios.com for a watercolour painting of your favourite home, cottage, landscape or more.
