About the Artist
Asel Artemenko works with sterling and fine silver, 14-24K gold, precious and semi-precious stones, and vitreous enamel.
Asel has been mesmerized and fascinated by different art objects since her childhood. Personal adornment and jewellery pieces attract her the most. This childhood fascination developed into a passion.
Asel’s goal is to share joy, light, and love of jewellery with people around her. A lot of her creative ideas are coming from within her. Imagination is the powerful force of nature. In addition, she is inspired by Mother Nature, people, architecture, visual art, music, baking, knitting and other creative channels.
After working in a corporate world for over 15 years, Asel decided to pursue jewellery making. She completed the required course work at George Brown College in Toronto and got the Certificate in Fundamental Jewellery Making. She continues expanding her skills and techniques by taking various workshops here and there.
